My primary qualification is a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology ( D. Clin.Psych, see below)
I also hold an honours degree in Psychology and an MA in Consultation and the Organisation from the Tavistock.
I specialise in the psychological assessment and formulation of individuals with complex needs (Mental illness, substance misuse and personality disorder) and have may years of experience working in mental health services and homelessness services.
I have held leadership positions relating to ‘Dual Diagnosis’ at the Sainsbury Centre for Mental Health and in the NHS.
I am highly skilled at working with teams and services to develop and support their practice in working with complex clients. This is underpinned by the systemic and psychoanalytic approaches from the Tavistock MA in Consultation and the Organisation but also draws on models from cognitive, behavioural and motivational models. All of these approaches are utilised in my work developing Psychologically Informed Environments (PIES) and trauma informed practice in a range of service settings .
I have provided consultation services to a number of Mental Health Trusts, Councils and Voluntary organisations across the south east.
In addition I provide clinical supervision to individuals and teams, team and service reflective practice and incident debrief.
